Terms & Conditions

  • The list holder, any purchaser from their list (a "Guest") and THE PERFECT PRESENT COMPANY agree that except as specifically stated herein, the list holder shall act as the Guest's agent in respect of any rights the Guest may have as a result of their purchase of a gift from the relevant list.
  • All orders are immediately marked as having been sold from the list but in the event of any duplication THE PERFECT PRESENT COMPANY will offer an alternative choice. THE PERFECT PRESENT COMPANY has no responsibility if a gift purchased through THE PERFECT PRESENT COMPANY is duplicated by purchase of the same gift via another source.
  • THE PERFECT PRESENT COMPANY can only accept alterations or deletions to a list from the list holder themselves in writing. List holders are able to update their own lists independently by using the online service.
  • THE PERFECT PRESENT COMPANY may remove items from a list should these be discontinued by the supplier. Where this is the case, THE PERFECT PRESENT COMPANY will advise the list holder and provide the opportunity for an alternative of their choice to be included in place of the original item.
  • Orders are only accepted once paid for in full to THE PERFECT PRESENT COMPANY. Where an item is paid for by cheque, the list holder will not be informed of the item purchase until the cheque has been received by THE PERFECT PRESENT COMPANY.
  • If an item is purchased for a list holder through another means, THE PERFECT PRESENT COMPANY cannot be held responsible for any duplication which may be made.
  • All prices are quoted in pounds sterling and include VAT, unless otherwise stated.
  • In some instances item prices may fluctuate and THE PERFECT PRESENT COMPANY reserves the right to increase (or decrease) prices charged to purchasers from the price stated at the time the list is booked if the price of supply of goods has changed in that period.
  • Where messages are included by purchasers at the time of purchase, it should be noted that THE PERFECT PRESENT COMPANY cannot be held responsible for the contents of these messages.
  • For wedding and wish lists, risk in items purchased passes to the list holder on delivery to the delivery address or such other address as is notified to THE PERFECT PRESENT COMPANY in writing.
  • For individual purchases, all products remain the property of THE PERFECT PRESENT COMPANY until delivery, at which point risk transfers to the Purchaser.
  • If for any reason THE PERFECT PRESENT COMPANY are unable to fulfill a particular order, a full cash refund or suitable alternative will be offered to the list holder or the Purchaser as appropriate.
  • Copies of the list will be available to the list holder. It is the responsibility of the list holder to check the list carefully as items cannot be exchanged or returned once ordered by THE PERFECT PRESENT COMPANY unless damaged, faulty or incorrectly supplied or in accordance with our cancellation policy.
  • THE PERFECT PRESENT COMPANY gives no warranty as to the suitability or quality of the products it supplies, to the extent permitted by law.
  • THE PERFECT PRESENT COMPANY shall have no liability for damaged or faulty goods unless notification of such damage or fault has been made to THE PERFECT PRESENT COMPANY within seven days of delivery.
  • THE PERFECT PRESENT COMPANY shall have no liability for any loss or damages claimed for loss of enjoyment.

Cancellation of a List:

  • If for any reason a list is cancelled THE PERFECT PRESENT COMPANY must be notified of this in writing and the following charges will be levied:
    • - Cancellation of a list before any items have been purchased - 75.00
    • - Cancellation of a list after present(s) have been purchased - 75.00 plus 20% of the value of the presents bought at the time of notification.

Returns Policy:

  • The list holder shall have seven working days from the date of delivery to their agreed address in which to return an item. If the majority of items are returned this is considered to be a cancellation of a list and the appropriate charges will be incurred. The item(s) must be received by THE PERFECT PRESENT COMPANY in the same condition as when delivered.
  • Where an item is purchased outwith a list, then the purchaser shall have seven working days from the date of delivery of their item(s) in which to return the item(s). The item(s) must be received by THE PERFECT PRESENT COMPANY in the same condition as when delivered

Delivery

  • For Lists there is no charge for delivery to UK mainland addresses providing the total retail value of the items exceeds 3000. All other mainland deliveries are charged at a maximum of 50.00 per delivery. If access is not granted to the agreed address at the agreed times, a redelivery charge of 50 will apply.
  • For individual purchases, where delivery charges apply they will be indicated to the Purchaser at the time of purchase.
  • THE PERFECT PRESENT COMPANY can arrange transportation and insurance for deliveries outside the UK mainland. This will be charged at cost.

Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

We have read and understand these Terms and Conditions and agree to compile a list with The Perfect Present Company [and/or agree to purchase goods from The Perfect Present Company).

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be construed in accordance with and governed by the laws of Scotland whose courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
